A Great Need

In the United states, over 87,000 men, women and children are currently waiting for a life-saving organ transplant. The number grows every year. Each day, more than 100 people are added to the list and 17 people die waiting for needed organs or tissues. Unfortunately, as these numbers continue to grow, the number of individuals consenting to donation remains relatively unchanged.

Organ and tissue transplants can save or enhance the lives of many more of those waiting, but helping those in need relies on individuals who say "yes" to donation.
